The historical Monastery of Prophet Elias has been a beacon of faith for over three centuries, both for the inhabintants of Santorini and for thousands of visitors.
The monastic brotherhood, faithful to old traditions, maintains and operates the 40 metochian churches and attends to the 150 stremmas of the monastic vineyards, as well as to the 3.000 olive trees.
